Recipe: Lemon Lavender Cookies

This recipe is perfect if you love to indulge yourself with the flavors and scents of citrus, floral and coconut. The smell of the batter engulfs the entire kitchen, especially when they're heating up in the oven. So not only are you making yourself mouth-watering cookies, but you're also experiencing some awesome aromatherapy.

Utensils Needed
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Mixing spoon
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Tablespoon
  • Teaspoon
Ingredients (for quantities, visit Lemon Lavender Cookies)
  • Flour
  • Coconut palm sugar
  • Salt
  • Baking soda
  • Lavender (be very precise about this, too much lavender can overpower the recipe)
  • Coconut oil melted
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. Add coconut oil, coconut sugar, flour, lemon juice, salt, baking soda, and lavender to large mixing bowl. 
  3. Scoop a large tablespoon of batter onto the baking sheet. Form the dough into the shape of a cookie since the batter will not fall nor rise as it bakes. 
  4. Bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit 8-10 minutes. Remove them from the oven and and let cool.
  5. Enjoy!
